Dr Joe Abah - Director General

Bureau of Public Service Reforms

Welcome to the July edition of the reformer monthly. This month, we continued to outreach and raise awareness among members of the public about government work.
As part of this, we were pleased to participate in a question and answer session on Rhythm FM with members of the public to talk on development in Civil Service and Public Service reforms.
We have also been involved in advocacy on the Freedom of Information Act in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Justice to see how we can work better together to promote the Freedom of Information Act.
During a twitter session with a Civil Society group, the Partnership For Public Administration Reforms, I took questions about issues to do with the Integrated Payroll and Personnel System, the attitudes of civil servants, the Treasury Single Account, and many other topical issues.
I am pleased to present you with this month’s Reformer and I hope that you will enjoy reading it.
