QUOTE OF THE MONTH - REFORMER MONTHLY - E-Newsletter of the Bureau of Public service Reforms (BPSR).

One of the most important areas of my stewardship will be refocusing on the regime of rewards and sanctions in the entire service, particularly the Directorate level. Officers who work hard especially within these levels will be identified and specially rewarded and remunerated.  My Office, working with the Federal Civil Service Commission, and the Bureau of Public Service Reforms will come up with a package of measures in a short while, which will ensure that officers who work in an outstanding manner are properly rewarded. Some of the proposed areas of reward will include restitution of accelerated promotion, conferment of national honours’, training in leading management institutions around the world, cash reward etc.”
By Mr. Danladi Kifasi, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, speaking during his inaugural meeting with Directorate Officers in the Civil Service.
