Civil Service Transform. FG, Africa Initiative for Governance sign Public-Private Partnership MoU. cc @DrJoeAbah


The Federal Government and Africa Initiative for Governance, AIG, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, to seal a public-private partnership, PPP, to transform the Nigerian civil service.

Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, OHCSF,, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita, said at the signing of the MoU in Abuja, yesterday, that it was a new vista and change in the Nigerian Federal Civil Service.

Oyo-Ita said: “Under this partnership, AIG will provide and deploy requisite skills, know-how and funding towards agreed programmes and projects in the 2017-2019 Strategy of the OHCSF.

“On our part as a government, we will provide requisite and timely governmental assistance, dedicated personnel to the agreed projects and programmes.”

Speaking on the partnership, Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Chairman of Africa Initiative for Governance, said:  “The vision of Africa Initiative for Governance is to be a catalyst for public sector transformation across Africa, connecting proven private sector innovation, leadership and funding to an amenable public sector in partnerships that seek to attract, inspire and support future leaders of Africa’s public sector.”
