President Jonathan Swears in New Head of Service, Commissioner

New Head of Service (HOS), Mr. Danladi Kifasi, Commissioner representing Abia and Imo states in the service, Mr. Chima Dunze, were Wednesday sworn in by President Goodluck Jonathan.

While swearing in the duo at the Presidential Villa, Jonathan said for any government to do well, the civil service must be at the forefront.

He equally noted that if Nigeria must succeed as a nation, there must be absolute discipline and total conduct in the civil service.

"That is why your job is quite challenging. But from your antecedents, both of you are quite conversant with the operations of the civil service. We believe that you will bring your wealth of experience to bear as you manage the civil service.
